Privacy Policy
The short version: the App sends nothing about you to us. There are no accounts of ours, no advertising trackers and no analytics services. Your chips, trophies, purchases and settings stay on your device. Multiplayer runs over Apple's Game Center between the players' own devices: the other players at your table receive your Game Center name and your play at that table, and the player hosting the table keeps a local record of it so unfinished credit can be settled later. The only information we ever receive is what you choose to email us.
This policy explains how Cardano Royale: Hold'em (the "App"), published by Immersive Kinetics LLC ("we", "us"), handles information. It applies to the App on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro.
Information we collect
The App does not ask you to create an account with us, does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and has no server of ours that receives game data. The App never transmits anything to us on its own. If you email us for support, we receive your email address, what you write and anything you choose to paste, such as the Wire Journal described below; we use it only to handle your request and delete it when your case is closed, or sooner if you ask.
Information stored on your device
- Club Credit, trophies and settings — your play credit, records, cosmetics and preferences are saved locally. The App does not sync them to any server. Like other app data, they may be included in your device backups (for example iCloud Backup), which are handled by Apple; we cannot access them.
- Table records, as a guest — when you join a multiplayer table, the App keeps a local record of that participation (an identifier for the table and your seat, the host's Game Center player identifier, a rejoin token and, for private tables, the door code) so that credit from an interrupted table can be collected later. These records stay on your device and are deleted with the App.
- Table records, as a host — when your device hosts a table, it keeps a local record of each player who sat down or was offered a seat: their Game Center player identifier and display name, the avatar they chose, the terms they accepted and the settlement receipts owed to them. The App keeps these after the session ends so a returning player can collect what the table owes them. They stay on the host's device, are never sent to us, and are deleted with the App.
- Wire Journal — a short, device-local diagnostic log of multiplayer events in fixed categories (connections, offers, settlements, timeouts) with elapsed seconds, the platform and build, and bounded counters. It contains no names, Game Center identifiers, door codes, tokens, cards, balances or purchase records. The App never exports it on its own: under House Rules → Wire Journal you can COPY ALL to share it with us, or CLEAR it. Clearing the journal does not delete your credit, purchases or table records.
Multiplayer and Game Center
Public nights and private tables use Apple's Game Center for sign-in, matchmaking and the connection between players. While you are at a table, the other players' devices receive your Game Center display name, your chosen table avatar, your actions and your chip counts at that table; one player's device (the host) runs the table and keeps the settlement records for the players at it. Apple's handling of your Game Center account is described in Apple's Privacy Policy. You can play entirely offline against the house without signing in to Game Center.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment information. Apple provides the App with a record of your purchases so it can deliver chips and unlock cosmetics; the App keeps a local note of each delivery so a purchase is never credited twice. Apple's handling of this data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy. Chips are play credit for a simulated poker game: they have no cash value and cannot be redeemed, withdrawn or won as a prize. See the terms.
Diagnostics
If you have opted in to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated crash reports and usage statistics. These do not identify you. If you choose to email us a copy of the Wire Journal, we keep it only for as long as your support case is open and then delete it.
Children
The App contains frequent simulated gambling and is rated for adults. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Multiplayer is unavailable when Game Center is restricted on the device.
Your choices and rights
Apart from support email you send us, we hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete; ask and we will delete your support correspondence. Deleting the App removes its local data from your device, including any unfinished table credit and the records needed to collect it, so collect what you are owed first. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights regarding personal data; you can contact us at any time with questions.
Changes
If we change this policy, for example because a future version adds a feature that handles data differently, we will update this page and its effective date before that version is released.
