Frequently asked questions

Multiplayer says Game Center is unavailable.

Public nights and private tables run over Apple's Game Center. Sign in under Settings → Game Center on iPhone, iPad or Apple Vision Pro, or in System Settings → Game Center on Mac, then return to the title screen. Devices with multiplayer restricted by Screen Time or a managed profile cannot join tables; the app will say so.

We found each other but nobody was dealt in.

Everyone at a table needs the same version of Cardano Royale. If the title screen reports that another player runs a different version, update on both devices and knock again. Private tables also need the exact door code.

My connection dropped mid-hand. Where is my buy-in?

It is held on your device, pending a receipt. The table settles your seat at the end of that hand and the host's device keeps a receipt for you. Return to the title screen and choose RECONNECT while the host is still at that table to collect it. If the host has left, the credit stays held until that host's device is back at the same table with its saved records; there is no way for another device, or for us, to settle it. Credit only ever moves on a receipt from the table you played at.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open the Member Shop and choose Restore Purchases, using the same Apple Account you purchased with. Felts, looks, swag and the Bespoke Tailor restore; chip packs are consumed when delivered and the "Buy the House a Round" tip delivers nothing, so neither can be restored. Your chip balance, chosen looks and earned trophies live on the device and are not part of a restore.

I bought chips but they have not arrived.

If the purchase is waiting for approval (Ask to Buy), it is delivered once approved. A delivery that was interrupted after Apple completed the purchase is retried when the App next starts and when you choose Restore Purchases in the Member Shop; simply reopening the shop does not deliver it. Chips are delivered once per purchase, never twice.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Is this real-money gambling?

No. Club Credit and chips are play credit with no monetary value. They cannot be withdrawn, exchanged, transferred or sold. Nothing you can buy changes the odds, the cards or how the regulars play. See the terms.

What is the Wire Journal?

Under House Rules → Wire Journal the app keeps a short, device-local log of multiplayer events in fixed categories: connections, offers, settlements and timeouts. It never contains names, Game Center identifiers, door codes, cards or balances. If you email us about a problem, pressing COPY ALL and pasting the log helps us help you; sharing it is always your choice. See the privacy policy.

I lost my progress.

Club Credit, trophies and settings are stored on your device and are not synced. If you deleted the App or moved to a new device without a backup, only your cosmetic purchases (felts, looks, swag, Tailor) can be restored, through the Member Shop with the same Apple Account; chip balances and earned progress do not come back. Do not delete the App while it holds unfinished table credit.
